This Emerald Heart Claddagh Ring is a traditional Irish Claddagh Ring with a very distinctive design. A beautiful Emerald has been elegantly set to the heart making this a very special ring.

The Claddagh is one of the most popular symbols in Irish jewelry and the rings date to the 17th century, originated in the village of Claddagh in County Galway, Ireland. Legend has it that Richard Joyce, a Galway native, was captured and sold to slavery in North Africa. However, Joyce found himself slave to a Turkish Goldsmith, and from his master he learned and excelled at the craft.
